PARAM Supercomputer

Here are the hardware and software resources currently available at Armenian-Indian Center for Excellence in ICT.  These are continuously upgraded to address the requirements as they emerge.

HARDWARE RESOURCES

• PARAM 10000 - Master Node (Supermicro) AMD  Opteron 1216-Dual core/2.4GHz /2M cache CPU, RAM 8GB, 2*500GB SATA HDD, 4 Gigabit ethernet, 1 Mellanox MHGH18-XTC connectX IB HCA.
• Compute Node (Supermicro) Opteron 1216-Dual core/2.4GHz /2M cache CPU, RAM 8GB, 2*500GB SATA HDD, 2 Gigabit ethernet, 1 Mellanox MHGH18-XTC connectX IB HCA.
• Tyrone Storage 20TB of SATA based NAS external storage.
• Various PCs/Workstations used as consoles to PARAM 10000.
• A Backup Tape Library used to take backup of user data on PARAM 10000.

SOFTWARE RESOURCES

The Operating System of PARAM 10000 is RedHat Linux Enterprise which supports multithreading and multiprocessing. Each workstation in the PARAM 10000 cluster runs on the RedHut Linux.
