QA/Software Testing Fundamentals


Armenian-Indian Center for Excellence in ICT (AITC), Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) and ArmSTQB are happy to announce a new training on ISTQB® Foundation level. 


Demand for Quality Assurance (QA) specialists increases parallel to the software systems dissemination and IT sector development. Quality assurance professionals are in particular responsible for the software testing.

This course introduces the basic concepts, methods, tools and processes of testing, as well as includes practical lessons on a real project.

The training will be delivered by Arshak Balyan, the Co-Founder of ArmSTQB. Arshak is ISTQB Advanced Level Certified Software Test Automation Engineer with more than 9 years of Test Automation Experience and more than 6 years active teaching experience.

  • ISTQB Foundation Level International Program
    • Basics of testing
    • Testing during SDLC
    • Static testing techniques
    • Dynamic testing techniques
    • Testing management
    • Testing tools
  • Automation testing features and applications
  • Involvement in the real project with any of the partner organizations
  • AGILE methodology, SCRUM Framework
  • Versions Management (Release management)
  • Up-to-date tools, used in versions and testing management processes (eg Jira, VSTS, TestRail, GitHub, etc.)
  • The nuances of preparing an effective CV
  • Final Exam, which is equivalent to ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level International Qualification Exam
  • Consultation with the participants on further professional development 
  • Participants՛ data transfer to employers at the end of the course
  • Certificates for all the participants


Expected result: Those, who successfuly complete the course will be assumed to work in an IT organization as a Quality Assurance Specialists.



Training start day: April 13, 2020, 18:30

Training days: Monday & Thursday at 18:30-21:00

Training duration: 35 hours / 14 days / 2.5 per lesson

Training fee: 79 000 AMD (for the entire course)
